Quite often we receive requests from our customers, to fabricate counter
tops of unique thickness outside of the industry’s norm. The nominal standard of thickness is ¾” or 1 ¼”. However, in the event that a 2” thick slab is unavailable or if the cost becomes prohibitive to the project, we then offer an alternative. This alternative allows us to fabricate the counter tops to the specified request by adding a mitered apron.
We apply careful book-matching, precise mitering and epoxy color matching, making the final product appear to be that of one solid thickness.
