“There are many steps that must be taken to reach the desired goal in each project we complete. Included in these steps is a process referred to as a C.A.D. drawing. A C.A.D. drawing is a Computer Aided Draft of the work to be done, engineered through a computer by a professional Draftsman. Often, companies that subcontract out this step to other companies, charge an additional fee for this service. Other times you will not be aware of this charge.

This particular step often leads to under-budgeting and delays in the process due to the fact that, throughout the designing of a job, changes are often made. Each time a change is made or an adjustment needs to be done, the C.A.D. drawing must continuously be sent back and forth for approval between the fabricator, the contractor and the draftsman.
