Design & Technologies: PaperStone – The Earth’s Surface
In our desire of expanding our product focus to include green building products for the home or commercial projects, Savvy Custom Stone Inc., is pleased to introduce a new green product called PaperStone.
PaperStone is the only architectural solid surface certified by the Smartwood program of the Rainforest Alliance to FSC standards for using 100% post-consumer recycled paper is made from 100% post-consumer recycled paper and a proprietary, petroleum-free resin. It is specified by architects and interior designers for commercial and residential uses.
PaperStone is extremely hard and is practically impervious to water. It is scratch resistant and used for cutting boards. It is also highly resistant to staining and can bear temperatures to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, making it an excellent choice for kitchens.
The Original series is available in 5 colors and the Certified series is available in 7 colors.
Standard thicknesses are readily available in 3/4 inch, 1 inch, and 1-1/4 inch. (Other panel sizes and thicknesses are available by special order).
